Nearly twenty-five thousand residences in south-east Queensland woke up lacking electricity on the start of the week after intense storm systems passed over the area, bringing strong winds hitting 109 kilometers per hour.
Large Hailstones and Extensive Impact
Residents observed substantial frozen pellets measuring up to 7 centimeters in some areas. The Bureau of Meteorology confirmed that various areas across the state had been affected by significant hail.
